Meet Driss
A proud indigenous (Amazigh) Born and raised in the old part of Fes, lived in the medina of Marrakesh for many years. A dual nationality holder. Moroccan/Australian. Spent over 30 years in Melbourne, Australia "I consider Morocco as my mum and Australia as my wife".
Labeled as "The Teacher" around the country, (as I'm an ex-language teacher). Driss teaches and can communicate with 6 languages and Highly respected among professional tour guides and teachers nationally.
Professionally, I believe that "A Tour Guide is an ambassador" for their country and culture, as the tourist or traveler sees the country through the eyes of their guide.
I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge through guiding, mentoring, and teaching thousands of people around the world. DT's is the product of over 40 years of experience in the tourism and education sector, the focus is to provide guests/clients with the correct historical information in a very simple easy way while they are having fun and enjoying their holidays.

From humble beginnings to becoming one of Morocco's most trusted tour guides, Driss's journey reflects his unwavering commitment to authentic travel experiences.
Started as a young local kid showing tourist the beauty of Fes as 'unofficial tour guide', driven by passion and practicing my favourite languages: French, Spanish and English.
Extended services to include Marrakech and began offering multi-city tours across Morocco.
Studied English literature at Fes university.
Left Morocco to explore the world and expand my horizon.
Settled in Melbourne Australia.
Studied 'Travel and Tourism Management' in Victoria University of Technology VUT Footscray campus.
A certified tour guide in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Opened 'Zelij Moroccan Interiors' - The first 100% Moroccan bazar in Australasia, showcasing my exotic Moroccan heritage to the Australian market. Developed cooking classes, private tours to Morocco and artisan workshops for deeper cultural experiences.
